Dunya News reported that The Indian government Saturday stopped Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu from entering Pakistan through Wagah border despite having a five-day visa.

Sidhu was stopped by the Indian authorities in Attari. He will now reach Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur through the Kartarpur Corridor with the rest of the Sikh community.



It is worth to be mentioned that the Indian officials had earlier ensured Navjot Sidhu that he will be allowed to enter Pakistan via Wagah. The delegation that had arrived at the Wagah border to welcome the Indian leader has also gone back.
